Royal Ascot Golf Club
The Solway Brown Partnership, Berkshire
This luxurious, private members’ clubhouse has been built as part of a major redevelopment and expansion of the Royal Ascot Race Course and was opened by HRH the Duke of York. Both the golf course and clubhouse have been relocated to adjoining farmland within the confines of Windsor Forest, approximately half a mile from the original course. Designed to blend perfectly with its surroundings, the building has been traditionally constructed to a barn style and features large windows looking out onto the green. Housing a restaurant and lounge, two bars, changing rooms, a function room and a shop, it offers golfers the ideal place to relax and socialise.
