Overview
Rutherford Appleton Laboratories are a world leading scientific organisation based in Wantage Oxon. ISIS is sited within the campus and is the worlds leading spallation neutron source. Neutron scattering is used to carry out key research into soft matter, advanced materials and nanoscale science. The ISIS TS2 project involves the construction of a second neutron source and Feltham Construction have carried out 23 elemental work packages within and on the new Experimental Hall TS2 building including; the construction of a concrete "bunker" for the target area, mezzanine floors with office areas, and a range of laboratory areas to support the future experiments.
