Overview
The lower floors of this early 17th Century Grade I Listed stone building in the heart of Oxford housed an outdated commercial kitchen, which has been replaced and upgraded to meet modern catering standards. Despite very limited access, the existing kitchen was completely ripped out and the basement area restored in order to house a new kitchen and cold rooms. Two trolley lifts and a platform lift have been installed, along with new mechanical, electrical and ventilation systems. The kitchen, which now provides students and staff with over 300 meals a day, has been finished to the highest of standards within this historic building.
