Overview
Construction of New Girls Boarding House over 3 storeys. Works comprised the demolition of an existing single storey cottage with general site clearance.
Traditional construction brick and block work, insitu ground floor, pre-cast to upper floors. Traditional timber roof construction with tiled finish. Internal accommodation to provide 26 study bedrooms, shower rooms with sanitary provisions, communal areas, staff accommodation and laundry.
The site is located to the north edge of the college grounds, within existing boundaries. The site abuts the college 2nd driveway and car park to the north, cricket pitch to the west and abuts the existing Orchard House building to the south.
