Overview
Situated just outside Newbury, this primary school has been substantially extended to provide a modern teaching facility for local children. Five additional classrooms and associated support rooms have been created to cope with increased demand for places, due to additional local housing. The new high-specification classrooms have been designed with high ceilings and large windows to let in the maximum amount of natural light. A sympathetic approach by the on-site team was of key importance to this extension work, as pupils were being taught in neighbouring classrooms throughout the duration of the project.
